Fin Raziel

I’ve been working with the mighty Fin Raziel on a new logo for the band and some T-shirt designs (and for the geeks amongst us it’s not this Fin Raziel).
Fin are a up and coming post rock band (great riffs, breakdowns and choruses with a nice electronic edge) and with song titles such as “Decompression” and “Disaster” I felt it would be rude to ignore a space theme for their mark. With their previous logo being very “rock” I wanted to stay within the grunge look for the logo but add in a 60’s influenced spaceship and some simple clear setting for the type. With grunge looks I feel people can go crazy with distressing the letters and the whole thing becomes a bit illegible.
