For the last 3 or 4 weeks I’ve been working for Merlin Studios producing concept drawings for a new Sea Life theme park.

I was drawing the in-tank theming, which is what the inside of each tank will look like. I was researching rocks and coral, lumps of driftwood, chains, anchors and then drawing up fairly detailed renders of each tank.

It was a really good challenge, draftsmanship wise, and I enjoyed getting the bus to their studio each day knowing that all I was going to do is draw in pencil all day long.

Oh, and I’m sorry but until the park’s been built that’s all I can show of the actual drawings. If you want to see some new drawings head on over to the sketchblog, I’ve been posting as often as I can.
